Difficult? No it’s not!
US-based MGS’s RPP 21 high speed rotary pick and place system is capable of feeding a wide variety of items including cards, plates, tags, packets, flat cartons, envelopes and many difficult to handle items.
MGS has chosen PIP to promote its highly regarded product handling range, which consists of De-nesters, Pick & Place equipment and Outserter magazine fed vignette labellers.
Outserter equipment places and secures outserts to the sides and top of bottles or cartons and can be customised to individual needs. The various models will reach speeds of 120/minute in random mode and up to 250/minute in continuous mode. Additional functions such as bar code scanning and various styles of bottle metering devices are available.
The Pick n’ Place range of intermittent vacuum feeders is suitable for pharmaceutical and food applications and consists of more than 20 models.
It can handle everything from multi-fold coupons and labels to corrugated, plastic and paperboard trays. The range also includes what is claimed to be the only feeder on the market with the facility to switch from vertical to horizontal placement. It operates at speeds of up to 70 cycles/minute for vertical placement and 60 cycles/minute for horizontal placement.
The MGS vacuum fed tray denesting range handles trays for bakery, confectionery, meat, and ready meal markets. Operating at speeds of up to 100 trays/minute, the denesters feature PIAB or Gast vacuum feeding systems, no tool changeover, quick change vacuum heads, downstream surge controls and low level magazine sensors.
