A welcome greeting for labellers
Flow wrapped packs of greeting cards are being labelled at 60 packs/minute by two high speed Etipack ‘Original 1.3’ automatic self-adhesive label applicators recently supplied and installed by Partners in Packaging (PiP).
Loudwater, of Milton Keynes, asked PiP to source a labelling solution that provided the greetings card company with label placement accuracy, ease of operation, speed, durability and versatility. “Precision was the key requirement for Loudwater”, explained Duncan Macintyre, managing director, PiP.
“The Etipack Original was specified and careful consideration was paid to the positional control of the product and also the sensing system for label placement accuracy. As a result an accuracy of +/-0.5mm is being achieved.”
The Etipack labellers are positioned at the end of the flow wrapper and offer ease of operation, rugged construction and speed flexibility (up to 50metres/minute), plus an excellent label size range (8mm to 130mm width). The Original labeller also offers very high levels of input/output capability for system monitoring including multiple level alarm signalling. |
