High speed collating and fulfilment brought to life at IPEX Stand no: 02-E41
Partners in Packaging (PiP) will be taking automation solutions into “real time” at IPEX 2006 with live demonstrations featuring Streamfeeder’s Collating/Kit Fulfilment, Tip-On lines and an ultra-high speed labelling systems for the print, mailing and graphic arts industries.
The Collating/Kit Fulfilment Line from PiP’s US principal Streamfeeder will dispense and collate a variety of promotional materials for inserting into pocket folders, controlled by Streamfeeder’s FeedNet™ line control and policing software. The line will be configured with the Servo and Pro Series of friction feeder/dispensers, capable of handling products from single sheets to thick magazines; and a modular transport conveyor including the AutoStream M2 bulk auto loader, designed to maximise the amount of product in the magazine to be fed; the pro series ST1250 feeding a single card; the XTR servo Retractable Dropper for counting large products and the fastest collator-feeder on the market today, the Servo driven XT-1200.
The second display will be a Tip-On Line that will use a V Series continuous sheet feeder and Converge 900 tip-on feeder/dispenser to hot glue a plastic card onto an A4 tri-fold brochure. Fed on a vacuum conveyor the product will then be labelled by the high speed Etipack Original.
Rounding off the display for the print finishing market will be the Etipack Super high-speed “news pointer” label applicator specially designed for the newspaper industry by Etipack. Labels, for example to highlight news or promote special offers, can be applied on the front or inside pages for outputs up to 1000 pcs/min. |
