Partners in Packaging Machines are designed using the latest 3D Solidworks design software, and manufactured here in Manchester. We have developed relationships with local specialist suppliers to supply fabricated, laser cut, polishing and machined parts and we use only the highest quality commercially available components, to enhance machine reliability.
All of our machines can be specified to suit wash-down environments and are built using Stainless steel and anodised aluminium components. Our machines are installed across a wide range of industries from bakery and medical to ready meals and confectionery in many of the largest companies in the UK. Card Trays
From standard pre-erected and glued card trays, coated and laminated board with sift-proof corners, micro-flute corrugated, and auto-lock/crash-lock trays, we have a range of machines to cover different styles of tray, speed and application
Plastic Trays
High speed shallow trays and deep multi-cavity trays made from materials including PVC, rPET, PET, cPET Polystyrene/ABS and Polypropylene, can all be handled on our wide range of denester-placers
Tubs, Pots, Buckets and Lids
We offer a range of solutions for denesting and placing buckets and tubs together with special systems for denesting injection moulded pots from bulk, labelling and re-stacking. We have a range of solutions depending on the application and speed, for lidding of tubs pots and trays.
Foil Trays, Clamshell Trays, Pad insertion, labelling and Pulp trays
All of our machines have the capability of handling all types of tray including foils, clamshells and trays made from materials such as pulp and sugar cane. Equipped with our durable and lightweight factory set size change masks, format changes take minutes with a trained operator
Base Card Feeding and Folding
We have over 1,000 machines installed in the UK, feeding flat base cards, feeding and folding of U Cards, J Cards and C cards and feeding booklets and leaflets into a wide range of host machines, in the largest plant bakery groups and food manufacturers - see “Our customers”
Promotional tip-on systems
Solutions for applying sachets and coupons/plastic cards to backing cards and cartons. We provide fully integrated systems to feed the base substrate, apply the glue and apply the sachet or coupon before folding the wallet (if required), labelling (if required) and collating on a shingling conveyor, ready to be loaded into shipping boxes
2D/3D Bandolier style Promotional item inserters.
Items up to 25mm thick, wrapped in a bandolier format (continuously wrapped and perforated for separation) can be fed and inserted using our range of Northfield Universal Bandolier inserters. We have installed these machines in major UK food and non food companies handling a wide range of insert types.
