Northfield – Bandolier Inserter
The Northfield Universal Bandolier 2D/3D inserter is used to insert promotional items such as toys, coupons and sachets from product wrapped in a continuously flowrapped and perforated string or “bandolier”.
The bandolier wrapped product is fed into the Universal inserter which singulates the item by snapping or “bursting” it from the bandolier and inserts it into a range of host machines including VFFS baggers, HFFS horizontal flowrappers and cartoning or casepacking machines. Suitable for a range of products up to 25mm thick, the Universal will operate at speeds of up to 250 inserts/min.
The Universal is compact in size, with a separate electrical panel with a touch screen HMI for machine configuration.
